A Community Class on the Healing Power of Plants
A class made up of three mini intensives that will explore the medicinal, nutritional, and spiritual, properties of common plants.
Learn simple, practical, ways to integrate the healing properties of plants to enhance and/or sustain the overall well-being of yourself and your family. In our time together, a fair amount of time will be hands on; learning field identification, and engaging in medicine making. A sampling of plant divisions for a startup herbal garden will be offered to interested students.
Learn to make and use:
Infused medicinal oils
Herbal tea blends
Salves and balms
Each person will come away with a starter medicine chest that is approximately a 100.00 value.
3 Mondays, from 6:30 - 9:30 PM

Class fee, including materials and digital course pack, is 150.00
RSVP and payment necessary to hold a space.
We prioritize scholarships for people of color.

ShuNahSii Rose - you can find more info about ShuNahSii here, but when it comes to the arena of natural healing, like many traditional healers, ShuNahSii was born with an inherent affinity and passion for the plants. She began her study of herbal medicine in 1982 with a range of exceptional “herb mothers” including: Anishinaabe elder and ethnobotanist, Grandmother Keewaydinoquay; internationally renowned Dr. Rosita Arvigo (author of several books including Sastun-My Apprenticeship with a Maya Healer); and Susun Weed.
